Ramsey Dog Training Clubis delighted to invite you to join them for either or both of their open shows with the chance to enjoy a holiday in between. The week starts with an Open Obedience weekend on the 14/15 July and finishes with two days of Open Agility competition on the 21/22 July. There will be a social night with entertainment on each Saturday and in between times we have planned some extra events for those that decide to take advantage of the whole week for a holiday and some fun too. Camping has also been extended by a day so you can take advantage of cheaper ferry travel and the chance to relax before the fun starts!
IMPORTANT FERRY NEWS! – we have just negotiated a special fare with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company of £169.00 for a car plus three passengers for the period of 12-24 July for any length of stay, with a £12.00 supplement if booking over phone. Quote the code DDOC when booking either by phone or on line via . As the Manx International Rally (19-21 July) coincides with our agility show this year we recommend that you get the ferry booked early to ensure your travel space! Anyone thinking of bringing a caravan over should contact Debbie for advice on how best to do this.
On Tuesday evening (17th) we hope to grab some last minute agility training so feel free to join us at our training venue. No matter what level you are competing at you are assured of a warm welcome. For Thursday 19th we thought we would test your powers of observation and driving skills with a Treasure Hunt ending with a supper at a mystery destination! And for those that took part in last year’s – it will be somewhere different so don’t reckon you’ll have a head start! All we will tell you is that it will be based in the north of the island and a car will be necessary this time if you want to finish before the weekend’s agility competition starts! This will be £9.00 per head to include a fab supper –please add this onto your entry form and let us know your preferred choice of meal using the form below, thanks.
Agility news - we are once again hosting a heat of the Genesis Performance Novice Jumping Tournament and we have reviewed and expanded the classes on offer with the new KC grades coming into place, giving you even more choice for every size of dog! And yes, you really do have 6 classes on offer – no limit!!!
For the lucky class winners at both shows we are offering a rather special prize of a china plate personalised with a photograph of your dog to be taken by Felicity of Ashford Photographics! Coupled with generous rosettes throughout (no percentages for agility handlers here!) we think it’s too good to miss!
