Rules for

Myotonic Goat Registry Sanctioned Shows on May 15th, 2010

MGR rules to govern and take precedence over all other rules

1. All goats must be registered by Myotonic Goat Registry. The original registration

certificate must accompany the goat during check in.

2. Age eligibility for classes will be determined by birth date on registration certificate.

3. Substitutions will be allowed at check-in within the same class.

4. No percentage goats will be shown.

5. First show will start at 9 AM Saturday and the second show will start immediately after

lunch break or about 2 PM on Saturday. A buffet style pizza lunch will be brought in at

charge of $5 per person for anyone that is interested.

6. Goats will be released immediately after shows on May 15th, 2010, but will be allowed to

stay until Sunday the 16th if needed.

7. All goats must wear a collar or restraint when not in pens. Goat owners are

responsible for securing their goats at all times

8. Show secretary reserves the right to split larger classes.

9. Scrapie rules apply. All goats must have a health certificate. If you use microchips

you must have a reader. All tattoos must be legible. Scrapie tags are acceptable. You

must have a extra copy of the health certificate available for the show committee.

10. MGR rules to govern and take precedence over all others.

11. Entries to be received no later than May 13th to appear in the show book. Entries will be

taken until show time.

12. All goats brought into facility must be entered in show.

13. Available rewards will be announced at shows. Goats will be placed to five places.

14. Entry fee is eight dollars per goat, per show, per class. Pen fees are $5 per pen (bedding not

included) for the duration of the weekend. Exhibitors must clean their pens after the show.

Cleaning will be available for $5 per pen.

15. Check-in will stop at 8 am on show day. You must be checked in by that time or

the animals will not be allowed to show.

16. The organizers of this show will not be responsible for any loss, damages or accidents

to animals property or persons while participating in the show. Youth exhibitors must

be accompanied by responsible adult.
