-Motion to accept the minutes accepted
Parent Report
- ices, ice cream, pizza, ices for field day, ices for flag day
- Claudia and Elaine are new co-presidents
UFT report
- reorganization complete
- mayor DeBlasio wants another year mayoral control
- if you want to control the school's then there will be a lift on charter cap
- UFT wants to post graduation videos online
- teacher's choice amounts increased
- UFT not for mayoral control
Principal/ AP report
- 4th grade science test grading is complete
- musical was amazing
- started planning for the production next year
- graduations will be coming up
- senior dance and trip coming up to see Aladdin
- reward school for 2016-2017, made the most gains in our subgroups(ESL and SWD)
- only funded at 88%. have to borrow $250,000
- Laurie has to appeal for funding
- no money for per session or per diem, no money for books after buying math books
- May parent night went well
- state tests will now be 2 days
- Councilman Grodenchik awarded school grant for new Mac Lab
CEP review
- some sections have to be revised based on new data
- supportive environment- demographics are updated
- waiting for Learning Environment survey
- add monitored effectiveness of this work by topic and benchmark assessments
- Add Jacob's ladder- reading comprehension program
