DearArt Students, Parents and School Counselors,

Bravo Blythewood , the Arts Council of Blythewood will award two visual arts scholarships this year. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Blythewood High School and one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Westwood High School. They will be awarded to students planning to pursue higher education in the visual arts.

To be considered, the following items must be included in your application packet:

●Completed scholarship application

●Unofficial transcript copy signed and sealed by a guidance counselor

●Letter of recommendation from a school representative or teacher

●An essay (500 words or less, typed and double spaced) about a piece of art or artist that has affected you and why

●A paragraph describing what you learned about William Carl Bell from his website williamcarlbell.com

●Photos of three works of visual art

●An acceptance letter from the school the student plans to attend

Incomplete applications/packets will not be accepted.

Applications must be postmarked by Tuesday, April 17, 2018 and mailed to:
