The Weekend Schedule Will Be

Aloha!

Warm weather is here and it’s almost time again to head out to the sun and water for the best weekend of the year! So grab your Hawaiian shirt and mark your calendars for the 10th annual camping / rafting weekend, July 10, 11, and 12. Your weekend excursion begins Friday evening with your arrival at camp where a warm inviting bon fire and perhaps a tiki torch or two await you. Craigstock and the fire are set up on the far side of the pole barn (up and to the left after you pass the office). Bring your own camp chair, a tropical drink with a little paper umbrella in it and enjoy your stay!

The weekend schedule will be:

Friday evening: (no set time) arrive, set up, and then relax

Saturday morning: 8am-9am continental breakfast

9am first bus leaves for skinners falls and optional tubing

(pick up at pole barn)

10am second bus leaves for skinners falls for rafting

(pick up at pole barn)

10:30-10:45am pick up life jackets, paddles, get your stuff into boats

10:45am group photo next to the river

11am head out down the river ending at narrowsburg campground

(watch for hidden treasures along the river, exclusive Craigmeur Treasure Hunt!)

Saturday evening: 5pm bbq set up between pole barn and bonfire

7pm – late?? band and bonfire

(9am treasure hunt prizes at the pole barn)

Sunday morning: 9am hot breakfast

Some key info:

We’ll be camping with landers river trips, 69 DeMauro lane, narrowsburg, ny 12764. The actual float on the river will be starting at landers skinners falls and finishing 5 miles down at the narrowsburg campground. If you are using your own personal boat(s) you can run them up to skinners falls in the morning and still leave your car back at camp, hopping a ride on either the 9am or 10am bus. I arranged a limited number of camper sites with water and electrical hook ups so please include on the registration form what you will need. You must send in your registration forms, waivers and payment by June 15th. After July 3rd there will be no refunds.

We’ve appreciated everyone’s help along the way to making these weekends such a success; please let us know if you’re interested in lending a hand. We need set up and cleaning crews for all meals.

Thanks,

Lee and Abby
