The U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez is requesting quotes for WAREHOUSING, TRANSPORTATION & CUSTOM BROKER SERVICES FOR OFFICAL SHIPMENTS.Please send all your quotes no later than February 9th, 2018 at 4:00 (central time) to . No quotes will be considered after this date.

The vendor will provide the U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez logistics services. Types of service will include, but are not limited to; warehouse, storage, transportation and custom broker services for inbound and outbound official shipments (excluding individual’s personal effects shipments). Shipments will include; U.S. Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) property, vehicles and parcels.

Warehousing services will include, but are not limited to; temporary storage, warehouse receipt for on-line visibility, handling in & out, order pick, documentation and shipping coordination, inventories and reporting, special labor services, cargo palletizing and wrapping. The vendor should have adequate facility warehouse to perform these tasks. The vendor is responsible for receipt of the correct quantity of pieces and for noting and notifying the Consulate of any overage, shortage or damage on shipments received.

Custom broker services should cover all importation and exportation of official USG and DoD shipments. Standard custom broker services include, but are not limited to; import and export pedimentos, U.S. Customs Entry, stevedore handling, PROFEPA/SEMARNAT, U.S. Customs entry and seals, import duties, taxes, VAT and DTA, U.S. Customs clearance, stevedore handling, Customs in-bond entry cancelation and exportation, U.S. Customs bonded warehouse entry and withdrawal, liaising with Mexican and U.S. Customs officials as well as completion of all other permits required by Mexico or U.S. Customs regulations.

Transportation services will include, but are not limited to; transportation between Ciudad Juarez - El Paso, El Paso – Ciudad Juarez, Ciudad Juarez - rest of Mexico, El Paso - rest of the U.S., El Paso and Ciudad Juarez airport transfer. Additional transportation requests may include, but not limited to: pick-up truck, bob-trail truck, dry van or flatbed.

The vendor shall provide electronic invoices in a timely manner which will be established between the vendor and the Consulate. If a correction is necessary, the vendor will correct it in one working day. Facility warehouse should be located in the United States within a 40-KM radius of the U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez. The Consulate reserves the right to use another vendor for transportation and custom broker services if the need arises.

Please provide two quotes.

One quote should be a monthly flat rate fee for Warehouse services as describe above for shipments that fit into a Consulate vehicle (medium-sized cargo van) which the Consulate will retrieve from your location and transport to the Consulate.

The second quote should be for items that require additional services and may not be able to fit in the Consulate vehicle.
