Systematic taxonomic revision of plant genus Echinacea that integrates morphology and phytochemistry. This has allowed clarification of conservation needs, as well as education for those involved in authentication and quality in herbal product commercial supply chains. [see ‘Journals’ in Publications Record # 6, 8, 9]

Professional teaching and training for effective tutoring, and case-writing in problem-based learning pedagogy - for undergraduate agricultural science courses emphasizing real-world, systems-based, interdisciplinary subject matter.
