Note:-

1. Bidders/Firms will provide attested copies of CNIC, Sales Tax/NIT Registration Certificates & NTN of Firm/Proprietor with their quotation. Firm/Proprietor who do not posses valid CNIC, Sales Tax/NIT Registration Certificates & NTN would not be issued Tender Documents.

2. Bidders will have to deposit 10% Earnest Money of the total cost of bid value in shape of CDR, DD, Pay Order (the financial instruments of Earnest Money) or Bank Guarantee for such an amount. Tenders with short Earnest Money/withoutEarnest Money will be rejected straightaway without assigning any reason.

3. After issuance of Acceptance Letter the successful bidder shall deposit 35% payment of its total bid value by adjusting already deposited 10% Earnest Money for placement of Sale Order within one week. While the remaining 65% amount, shall be paid either full or in part, within stipulated lifting period (to be started from the date of issuance of Sale Order) alongwith Taxes/Duties and other charges to effect lifting / delivery of the equivalent quantity of scrap material. On completion, the lifting against first 35% (25% + 10%) payment, would be allowed subject to deposit of Taxes/Duties and other charges there against, according to delivery schedule. In case of any default, the deposited amount available at that stage shall be forfeited and for such eventuality the firm will have no right to appeal to the court of law against this decision.

4. The offers must be made valid for acceptance for 90 days from the due date of opening of tender.

5. Blending/Reclamation plants born on the approved list of Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) or their duly authorized Agent only, will be eligible to participate in the tender (at S.No.12), subject to provision of authority letter from the Blending/Reclamation plant owner that he can participate in this tender and can get sale order in his name on their behalf.

6. The offers with any conditions and not confirming to “Standard Direction to tenderer for Purchase from the Railway, 2nd Edition-2007(amended)” are liable to be ignored at the time of opening of tender.

7. Tender Documents can be obtained on Cash Payment from the following offices during working hours:-

8. Tenders must be dropped on or before 05.01.2016 till 10:00 AM in Tender Box available in the room of DCOS/General, situated on first floor P.R/HQ Office, Lahore where the same will be opened at 10:30 AM publicly.
