Proposal to Prospect Lake

LISAHead Coach, Andrew Latham, advised that LISA have provided a response to the “Request for Proposal” put out by Prospect Lake.

Sooke DDC

LISA Head Coach, Andrew Latham, advised that LISA are in discussion with the Sooke Soccer Association to determine if we can assist with developing a consistent program in their club.

Metro meeting with Terry Hughes

LISA Head Coach, Andrew Latham, and LISA Metro Director are in discussions as to how to enhance the Metro program.

SYL Update

LISA Head Coach, Andrew Latham, reported that eight (8) teams (U13, U14, U15, U16 boys and girls) have been formed and are ready for the start of the SYL season.

Community Coach Coaching Program

LISA Head Coach, Andrew Latham, reported that LISA has presented BCSA with a number of options for the operation of the “Community Coaching Certificate” program.

Survey from Metro Teams

LISA Head Coach, Andrew Latham, and LISA Director, Dan Perrin, have designed a survey for Metro parents/players. It is anticipated that this survey will assist LISA with enhancing the Metro program.

Constitutional Changes

A committee comprised of LISA Vice-President, Bob Nex, (LISA Vice President), Glen Davis (President, Juan de Fuca Soccer Association), and Dan Perrin (LISA Director) submit proposed changes to the LISA Constitution.

Motion: I move that the proposed changes to the LISA Constitution, as presented by the Constitution
Committee, be presented to the District Presidents for discussion in advance of the upcoming
LISA AGM by D. Perrin 2nd R. Carfantan Carried

Budget

T. Satterford reported that the LISA budget for the 2009-2010 season is currently being prepared.

In Camera

Motion: I move that we go “in camera” at 20:14 by J. Charlton 2nd B. Nex Carried

LISA AGM

Scheduled for held May 19, 2009.

Protests

Two District Cup protests were presented and voted on by the Board. Both protests were upheld.

Reported on the recent meeting introducing the new on-line player registration form.
