Legislative Support

We currently retain the services of lobbyists in Both Harrisburg and Trenton to monitor legislation that would have an adverse effect on our industry. This allows us to act beforea legislator’s idea becomes law.

Security Committees

Our security committeealerts members whenever criminals appear to be targeting vending companies within their states. By sharing information and working with local law enforcement, these committees help to increase security awareness at the local level.

Publications –

Membership lists, legislative bulletins and meeting minutes help members maintain contact with fellow vendors and suppliers and stay up-to-date on association activities, industry regulations, trends and items ofconcern.

Why You Should Join Your StateVending Association:

Everything that affects vending in your state affects your business as a vending operatoror supplier. Membership in your state vending association helps support local efforts to keep you and your fellow industry members informed on the issues which affect your bottom line.

Your participation helps to give your state vending association a strong presence and voice when confronting legislative and regulatory issues affecting the vending industry. Remember, a united effort has greater impact than one individual voice.

The Automatic Merchandising Council of New Jersey (AMCNJ) was instrumental in helping to achieve the sales tax advantage that allows vending companies to pay sales tax on only 70% of the gross receipts on sales through vending machines.

Through the hard work of members of the Pennsylvania Automatic Merchandising Council (PAMC), those items that were tax-free in convenience stores are now tax-free when sold through vending machines. This makes almost all snack revenues tax free.
