What is a Self-Help Group?; How to attract people to a group; How to keep people involved and interested; Stages of group development and why they are important; Common issues in the group; How to evaluate group success; How to use support groups to empower your clients and promote their ownership and participation.

Role-Playing Challenging Situations in Groups – a train the trainer workshop

Tuesday, June 3, 9:30 am to 12:20 pm

As a focus, participants will engage in "Stop Theatre" role-play to explore options for addressing real challenges based on their own experiences. Adding a "train the trainer" angle, the workshop will wrap up with a review of steps, tips and further resources to enable participants to facilitate role-play learning within their own communities/organizations.
