The SAXON Bayeux Tapestry
By: (…Your name here…)
Many years it has lain forgotten in an old convent in Southern England. But a few months ago, English historians from Sussex uncovered an amazing treasure; A Saxon tapestry outlining the notorious events of 1066, one of the most important years in English history.
This tapestry casts the Norman Conquest in a whole new light;
we are now able to discover the story from the Saxons’ point of view.
Below are some scenes from this exciting new find.
Each scene contains a brief explanation of what is depicted.
