MARCH IS ROTARACT MONTH
President’s Piece

Hello Fellows,

Many thanks to President Elect Keith Byrn for sitting in and running the meeting for me tonight. This was due to my interstate travel commitments that prevented me from arriving prior to our scheduled meeting time.

Secretary Kevin Freund had a busy Rotary involvement last week, attending two different Rotaract meetings, one on Wednesday at Prospect, and another on Thursday night at Penrith.

Thanks to Shirley del Prado and Brian and Janet Johnson who traveled to Dural on Sunday to hand out flyers for our “Bike the Park” fundraiser on 2 May. Your assistance with this task was appreciated. Dural was the start/finish location for the “Tour de Hills” bike ride organized by the Rotary Club of Castle Hill in which Stephen and Adrian Taylor, Rod McDougall, Lillian Stockall and myself participated.

Last Friday night P.P.Stephen and Denise Taylor attended a welcome BBQ to the GSE team that arrived from Houston, Texas on that day. The team is made up of 3 girls and the team leader.

After the meeting tonight there will be a Directors Board meeting. One of the items of business will be consideration of a Rotary Centenary Project

President Keith
