MOPS Leadership Team Covenant
Having accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and being in agreement with MOPS International and its vision, strategy and structure, I now feel called by God to unite with the MOPS ministry of The Rock Church. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other Leadership Team members to do the following:

1. I will protect the reputation of our group and this church by:

□Acting with respect toward all MOPS leaders, church leaders and their positions

□Refusing to gossip

□Maintaining honesty and integrity

□Adhering to the guidelines established by the church and MOPS International

"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ."
-Philippians 1:27
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”
– Romans 14:19

2. I will support the MOPS ministry by:

□Sharing its purpose to encourage and equip moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church

□Attending leadership meetings, training events, reading my handbook and faithfully fulfilling my duties

□Warmly welcoming every mother who come to MOPS

□Praying regularly for this ministry

3. I will serve as Christ would want me to serve:

□Sacrificially

□Willingly

□Joyfully

4. I will strive to look upon the MOPS moms and their children as Jesus does and to love them as He does.

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?38Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?39When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[a] you were doing it to me!’ -Matthew 25:37-40
