·  Troy has community service people coming in to paint downstairs.

·  Thank you to Sean and Chris for cleaning engineers room.

·  Concerning the property next door. Household Finance Company owns the property. They are looking to sell it for $ 49,900.00. It would be no less than $ 10,000.00 to tear the house down. A motion was made by Bob Hooper to put purchase bid for the property next door for up to $ 35,000.00 with Rick being the negotiator. The motion was 2nd by Dave Shelleman. The motion was passed with 1 vote abstained.

Equipment

·  Doug contacted Marian Smucker about trailer storage. We are paid thru to the end of the year. The cost of $ 300.00 for a year. Doug is going to get the contract for us to sign to continue housing the trailer out there.

·  Most members are aware of the current problem we have been having with the power in the utility. Chris Hardy gave a report on some preliminary numbers to re-do the lights on the utility so it is not drawing as much current as there has been. The total price would be $ 1,320.00. He could then sell the lights that are on the utility now. Right now the amp draw is about 70 amps, with this change it would only pull about 35 amps. The only other option was to put another batter in the unit in the back. A motion was made by Chris Hardy to purchase new LED lights in the amount of $ 1,320.00, sell the lights currently on the utility and return the remaining amount to the company. The motion was 2nd by Eric Petery. The motion was passed with only 1 opposing vote.

·  We also received an application for junior membership from Sarah Englehart. The membership committee needs to meet with her and we are recommending to deny her application at this time. A motion was made by Heather Engle and 2nd by Paul Enders.

Old Business

·  Just an update on the HACC situation. The Dauphin County Volunteer Firemens Association Executive meeting met and discussed. They are sending letters to all the Chief’s to find out all issues. Once they have compiled a list they are going to address these with HACC. If they do not have resolution they will continue to take it further.

·  Dues are due by the end of November. Dues are $ 1.00 and can be paid of Sean or Heather.

·  The executive boards of the fire company and ambulance will be meeting Thursday, November 15, 2007 concerning the status of their building.
