Fireforum Congress24 November 2016 in Brussels

Fireforum vzw invites you to share your expertise in fire safety with an interested audience of prescribers, firefighters, prevention advisors, scientists, architects and engineering firms, building managers, manufacturers and installers. You can do this by giving a presentation at the biennial Fireforum Congress which will take place in Brussels on 24 November 2016.

The presentations are divided into two categories:

“Scientific Research”

and

“Applied Fire Safety”.

The presentations will not have a commercial content.

Under “Scientific Research” we want to propose a vision for the future. Which developments in the field of fire safety can we expect in the future? Which new insights will influence our outlook on fire safety? (Language: English)

Under “Applied Fire Safety” we will be exploring today’s applications. What is the current state of the art? What practical advice can you give for effective fire safety? In practice, how do you deal with new rules and new technologies? (Languages: Dutch or French)

In both categories we are looking for “technological” developments as well as developments relating to “people and fire safety” (behaviour, organisation, training, information, awareness campaign, etc.) or a combination of both. Furthermore, we are also open to information on new laws, standardsand regulations in this area.

Please send your proposals using the appended form by 25 June 2016 at the latest.
