Ms. G’s example:
Appreciate - To recognize with gratitude

Appreciate means that you should be grateful. You should understand and value both what you have and the people in your life. It’s important to remember how a little appreciation goes a long way. I find appreciate to be such an inspiring word because it takes no money, no time and no effort to show it. However, that little effort of appreciation can strongly affect others. I feel that the word appreciate represents me because I am mindful about letting people know that I appreciate them. To appreciate others and to feel appreciated is a lasting feeling that everyone deserves to experience.
