Greg Howse, August 24, 2014

We need power to breakthrough in the spirit realm and the natural realm to achieve and experience the resulting territorial enlargement and expansion

2014 is a significant year . . .Breakthrough

New frontier

Open doors / Opportunities

Partnerships

Implementation of plans / Taking action

Enlargement & Expansion . . . Think & Live BIG!

A time of rekindling . . .Family fire . . . cold love / hard hearts

INHERITANCE

The right of possession

A quality or characteristic received from progenitors

Genetic characteristics transferred from parents to children

The transfer of wealth or property

Galatians 3:13,14,29

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: (for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree): 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

29 And if you be Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Spiritual life in place of spiritual death

The power of the Spirit to live an overcoming life

Physical health

Mental and emotional health and stability

Healthy relationships

Financial prosperity (land) / Wealth (power; might; influence; significance)

THE POWER OF VISION

Proverbs 29:18

Without a vision (prophetic revelation) the people perish (go unrestrained); but happy is he who keeps the law (the principle; a fundamental truth that serves as the foundation for a system or belief or behavior).

Without VISION the people perish

Without PEOPLE the vision will perish

There is infinite potential and possibility inside of every human being

The strength of declaration and reinforcement (our children)

The force of imagination (paint the picture)

The power of faith (see it - believe it – plan for it)

The breakthrough of prayer

1. A vision without action is just a hallucination

2. Action without a vision is just random activity

3. We need a combination of passion and discipline to accomplish something significant in life

NAPOLEON:Take time to deliberate, but when the time for action has arrived, stop thinking and go in.

Handle adversity well enough . . .

Exercise stamina long enough . . .

. . . To break through resistance and clearly see results

David saw the cause

David leaned on his experience

David prepared

David used his words to prophesy in the power of life

I Samuel 17:45-47

45Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied.

46This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will smite you and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.

David ran toward his challenge

David used his skill

David finished the assignment

MULTI-GENERATIONAL WEALTH

Proverbs 13:22

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up. (Amplified)

A wealth transfer is directly connected to our ability to leave an inheritance for our grandchildren (the 3rd generation)

ALIGNMENT:Mental soundness; emotional stability; accurate decision-making; the ability to form and maintain healthy relationships; the ability to see, hear, and speak with clarity

STRUCTURE:Core values; accountability; purpose; strengths; a biblical world view

Abraham (father)Isaac (son)Jacob (grandson & multiplication factor)

Deuteronomy 5:9,10

9 For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

10but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9

Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments . . .

Emphasize the curse?

Emphasize and build for the blessing?

1. The wealth of IDEAS:Innovation / Solutions

2. The wealth of GIFTS:Work your gift

3. The wealth of LAND:I own this / Connection to God

THE INHERITANCE OF ZELOPHEHAD

Numbers 26:33

Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Zelophedad had no sons; only daughters

Keep silent / Remain in the background / Accept a role in life that is less than

God intends / Remain in the tent

Numbers 27:1-11

1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, from the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these were the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. 2And they stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, and before the leaders and all the congregation, by the doorway of the tabernacle of meeting, saying: 3“Our father died in the wilderness; but he was not in the company of those who gathered together against the Lord, in company with Korah, but he died in his own sin; and he had no sons. 4Why should the name of our father be removed from among his family because he had no son? Give us a possession among our father’s brothers.”

5So Moses brought their case before the Lord.

6And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 7“The daughters of Zelophehad speak what is right; you shall surely give them a possession of inheritance among their father’s brothers, and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.8And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter. 9If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. 10If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers. 11And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to the relative closest to him in his family, and he shall possess it.’” And it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

Manasseh (causing to forget) was their great, great, great grandfather; and Joseph (royalty & strategic wisdom) was his father

These five daughters went out from their living place

They went out from the restrictions imposed upon them; out from keep silent; out from remaining in the background; out from accepting a role in life that was less than God’s intent for them

They came forward to stand before Moses, the priest, the chief elders of the tribes . . . all of them men . . . confidence / boldness

vs.3,4They honored their father’s name

Their father was not involved in Korah’s rebellion

They recognized something unjust in God’s law

You may think your destiny is fixed

You may think you are stuck in one position of life

You may think you are destined to be poor and feeble

You may think God’s justice has abandoned you

You must now begin to think in a different way

MAHLAH:Overcome weakness, weariness, and sickness

NOAH:Overcome trembling / Overcome fear

HOGLAH:Overcome handicaps / Overcome that which is crippling you

MILCAH:Royalty / Power / Counsel

TIRZAH:Pleasant / Beauty / Favor / Delight
