Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers to Compete in First-Ever ‘Rivalry Cup’
Golf Event at Medinah Country Club in Advance of 2012 Ryder Cup
Past and present football stars to compete for charity on Medinah Course No. 3
WHAT
The storied rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers is coming to Medinah Country Club’s famed Course No. 3 – host venue of the 2012 Ryder Cup– to raise money for Bears and Packers charities and to determine bragging rights.This Ryder Cup-formatted event, set for June 18, will include four-ball and singles play, as well as a special reception and a program featuring a Q&A with the competitors. Participants include past and present players and coaches from both teams. Limited tickets are available to public online.

CHICAGO BEARS*:
- Kevin Butler, Super Bowl XX kicker and Bears all-time scoring leader
- Richard Dent, Hall of Fame Defensive End and Super Bowl XX MVP
- Mike Ditka, Hall of Fame Tight End and Super Bowl XX head coach
- Robbie Gould, Pro Bowl kicker and Bears all-time leader in field goal accuracy
- Patrick Mannelly, long snapper and longest tenured Bear in team history
- Adam Podlesh, first punter in team history to net over 40 yards a punt in a season
