Important notice: this request formrefersto the use of images of specific objects / monuments / sitesunder the jurisdiction of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and not the use of specific images of these specific objects / monuments / sites, if the images originate from third parties and have not been provided directly by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sportsor have not been produced under licensed photographing/filming/video recording by the applicants themselves. In such case, applicants must obtain proper licenses / copyright assignment contracts for the images by their respective owners and attach copies of them to this request form.
DECLARATION
I, the undersigned, declare that
- Images will be used exclusively for the purpose and period requested under the terms and conditions of the permit provided, as determined by the Minister of Culture and Sportsfollowing the expressed opinion of the Central Archaeological Council. In the case of any modification or amendment,a new permit is required.
- The permit is not transferable.
- Responsibility for the proper and lawful use of the images lies exclusively with the applicant and under no circumstances with the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
- The use of the images will by no means alter their content or offend the displayed monuments in any way.
- Grant of the permit does not constitute any form of cooperation, formal or informal, with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, unless expressly stated in the permit.
- The Ministry of Cultureand Sports will be promptly notified about the beginning and end of the publication of the licensed images on the website.
- Prior to the publication of the licensed images on the website all fees due to the Archaeological Receipts Fund will be deposited in Bank of Greece account number 026786/4 / ΙΒΑΝ 2201000240000000000267864.
- The publication of the licensed images on the website must be accompanied by the following disclosures:
- "The rights of the depicted monuments belong to the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports (Law 3028/2002)"
- (For movable monuments) Monument name, origin (Museum / Collection), index number (and optionally date and use)
- (For immovable monuments) Monument name, location (and optionally date and use)
- All information contained in this request form is true and accurate.
- Failure to observe the above will induce legal penalties.
