Post Title: -Data & Attendance Officer
37 hours per week - Term Time only
Salary Grade:- Hay grade 5
Base:Potters Bar
Responsible to: - Headteacher
Purpose of the job:-
Provide administrative support in school and be part of The Park ESC team.

Personal and professional conduct:-

Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Provide comprehensive support to the Headteacher & SLT in respect of preparation of whole school attendance data, including identification of patterns and register analysis in conjunction with Attendance Improvement Service
- Provide comprehensive support to the Headteacher & SLT in respect of preparation of whole school data, including DfE returns and the school census
- Provide administrative support and provide data, information and evaluation as required by the Headteacher and SLT
- Recording and reporting inventory to the insurance section at Children’s Services
- Extensive use of Sims and student assessment databases to include preparation of staff and student timetables, class lists analysis
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to an appropriate person.
- The job holder is managed by a member of the school’s senior leadership team
- To register and record new student admissions
- To update student admissions/withdrawals as appropriate
- To manage the schools newsletter and other similar publications
- To undertake any reasonable duties as directed by the Headteacher
Support for students’ learning:-
- Administer and update student’s data.
- Ensure student’s files are up to date within centres’ database & Sims packages.
- Liaise with schools, parents and external agencies as instructed by Headteacher & SLT.
