The name "MAKARA" comes from the Dreamtime aboriginal legend about

the emu sisters who flew up into the sky to become the Pleiades Constellation.

MAKARA is organised by a committee representing several croquet clubs.

Players from any CNSW club are invited to enter the advertised events.
