MINUTES

  1. CALL TO ORDER7:00 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by President, Terri Sharpp

  1. ROLL CALL

Board Members: Terri Sharpp, Carla Joiner-Herrod, Penny Williams-Wolford,

Princess Dempsey (arrived at 7:30 p.m.), Narvin Muhammad, and Andrew Rouse

  1. OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS

None

  1. CLOSED SESSION

Mr. Rouse made the motion to enter into closed session at 7:01 p.m.

Mr. Muhammad seconded the motion.

Motion carried on a voice vote. Five ayes and one absent.

While in closed session the Lindop Board of Education will interview candidates to fulfill the current board vacancy on the Lindop Board of Education, and the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of a specific employee and considered student disciplinary matters.

  1. ADJOURN CLOSED

Mr. Muhammad made the motion to adjourn closed session and return to open at 10:04p.m.

Mr. Rouse seconded the motion.

Motion carried on a voice vote. Six ayes.

  1. FINAL ACTION

Mr. Rouse made the motion to appoint Trence Perry to fill the current board vacancy.

Ms. Joiner-Herrod seconded the motion.

Motion carried on a roll call vote. Six ayes.

Ms. Williams-Wolford made the motion to approve the Board Consultants contract aspresented.

Mr. Muhammad seconded the motion.

Motion carried on a roll call vote. Five ayes and one nay.

  1. ADJOURN

Mr. Rouse made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:06 p.m.

Mr. Muhammad seconded the motion.

Motion carried on a voice vote. Six ayes.
