The MacGahan Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: March 16, 2012

The MacGahan American-Bulgarian Foundation awards two $500 college scholarships to residents of Perry County. One is to a qualifying senior of New Lexington High School. The second, initiated in 1990, is to a qualifying senior of a Perry County High School, Fisher, or Rosecrans.

In order to apply for either scholarship a student must complete the application form and send it with a high school transcript to the following address by Friday, March 16, 2012.

Announcement of the recipients will be made on or before June 1 and the scholarship will be presented at the annual MacGahan Foundation Festival in early June.

NEW LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must meet the following criteria:

• Have at lease a 3.0 G.P.A.
• Be a graduating senior of NLHS this school year.
• Have attended NLHS three out of four years of high school.
• Be entering college fall quarter.
• Be attending a four year college.

PERRY COUNTY

MACGAHAN SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must meet the following criteria:

• Have at least a 3.0 G.P.A.
• Be a graduating senior of a Crooksville, Miller, Sheridan, Fisher or Rosecrans school this year.
• Have attended current school three out of four years.
• Be entering college fall quarter.
• Be attending a four year college.
