Huawei Launches Latest Portfolio of ICT Product & Solution Innovations at CeBIT Strengthens position as optimal ICT partner for enterprises

[Hannover, Germany, March 6, 2013]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today unveiled the latest innovations in its portfolio of enterprise ICT products and solutions at CeBIT 2013. Along with these additions to its comprehensive portfolio, Huawei reiterated its unwavering commitment to customer-centric innovation to create added value for customers and to help embrace today’s trend of digitization through innovative ICT solutions. Huawei will also uphold its strategy of focusing on close cooperation and integration with partners, and develop an open and collaborative ICT ecosystem.

Rack Server Supporting SAP HANA®: In July 2012, Huawei officially became SAP’s first global technology partner in China. Working closely with SAP on technology integration and innovation, Huawei launched Tecal RH5885 V2, the first rack server that supports SAP HANA®. It features the highest flexibility and the most competitive price in the industry, and provides enhanced system reliability with its 35 RAS feature. HuaweiTecal RH5885 V2 helps enterprises accelerate real-time analytics and decision-making capabilities, greatly improving business agility.

eLTE Broadband Trunking Solution: The world’s first 100 megabyte professional broadband trunking solution based on LTE technology, HuaweieLTE Broadband Trunking Solution helps customers greatly enhance overall operational efficiency through audio, video, video surveillance and automated positioning services.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Mobile Office Solution: Through unified mobile office access, multi-strategy control and full-lifecycle management, Huawei helps enterprises respond to the security and management challenges brought about by the BYOD trend. The solution enables the new generation of office operations by improving security, user experience and efficiency.

Software-Defined Network (SDN) Solution: With the separation of ICT network into multiple layers, namely application layer, management and orchestration layer, network resource and service layer and network device layer, Huawei seeks to meet enterprises’ unique needs by providing flexible options in openness and programmability. Huawei strives to improve openness, agility in operation and management efficiency in the enterprise ICT network, so as to connect customers to enhanced business innovations and opportunities.

UPS5000-E uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system: A modular UPS with high efficiency, high-density and usability, the UPS50000-E supports online maintenance and capacity expansion. A single module can be expanded from 40kw to 300kw. It has the industry’s highest single module power density and reduces physical footprint by up to 50% when compared with traditional systems. It has up to 96% UPS efficiency, offering a green and energy-saving option for customers.
