·  Warm up – Quick Write: do you think that Marvel will be able to get away from the Invisible Man? Why or why not?

·  Small group discussion: put together and present a plan for catching the Invisible Man

·  Read chapter 14 as a class

·  Silent reading: chapters 15-16

·  Write: Re-read chapter 16 carefully. Do you think the men in the Happy Cricketers were justified in trying to shoot the Invisible Man? Had he committed any bad crimes up to this point? Should they try talking to him first? Are they simply over-reacting to the newspaper reports, the gossip and Mr. Marvel’s fear?
