Role & Responsibilities –‘ Guest Service Agent’ :

Our Service Personnel are the public face of our company, and the front line of our business.

Each member of the service team will need to be willing and able to cover all of the following tasks.

Training will be supplied for candidates who are successful joining our team.

Reception Cover / Welcome customers, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries.
Issuing customer entry passes
Direct customers and ensure they are aware of rules of play
Maintain security by following procedures;
Maintains safe and clean reception area.
Contributes to team effort by engaging in all common tasks
Handling Cash Registers
Preparation of Food / Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
Package take-out foods and/or serve food to customers.
Portion and wrap the food, or place it directly on plates for service to customers
Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service, or store them in refrigerated storage cabinets.
Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
General Cleaning / To clean all areas of the centre thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Keep all areas clear of dirt, dust, clutter, litter, and other debris during the working shift.
Treat all spillages, as urgent
Party Host / Greet all party guests – directing them through Health and Safety Information
Supervise the provision of all food & beverage for party guests
Supervise Party games and music
Arrange for party bags for the guests
Co-ordinate activities and keep parents/guests informed at all times

Candidate Profile: All candidates MUST have the following:

·  Proof of right to work in the UK

·  A UK bank account in your own name

·  The ability to converse fluently in English

·  A fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the Hive.

·  The ability, and willingness to work through traditional ‘Holiday’ periods, and at weekends.

Salary:

Starting salaries will be dependant on age and experience.

Hours to be agreed.

Other information:

·  The role is based in Shefford, and the normal place of work will be in the Hive.

·  Our centre is non-smoking.

·  Core working hours are 8am to 6pm and flexibility will be required to cover weekends, holidays, and ‘special events’.
