High Court Enforcement Group is seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional to work across our three brands within the enforcement and debt recovery industry, working closely with our marketing consultancy, Scaramanga Marketing, and our design and website agencies.

The HCE Group and The Sheriffs Office brands are High Court enforcement firms, working with law firms, businesses and landlords to enforce court judgments and orders to recover money or property for the claimant.

Excel delivers enforcement, collection and associated services to local authorities and central Government departments.

The role

The role is to deliver marketing campaigns for the three brands, including:

  • Create and deliver marketing campaigns
  • Social media marketing
  • Event research and management (sponsorship and exhibition)
  • Marketing collateral and promotional merchandise procurement
  • Assisting with website management
  • Book advertising space (trade press, third party eShots etc)
  • Review analytics from a range of systems and prepare reports
  • Client and competitor research
  • Manage budgets and contribute ideas to each annual budget
  • Update and maintain key documents, such as instruction forms and presentations
  • Provide full support to the Client Services and Sales teams

For TheSheriffs Office, the role will also entail working with the Sales and Operations teams to identify potential cases for the BBC programme they participate in and contact clients to obtain permission to film.

Skills and experience

Whilst full training on the role and our industry will be provided, the following skills are required:

  • Can do attitude and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a large team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very high standard of written English, especially spelling and grammar

Whilst not essential, as training will be provided, the following skills would be an attribute:

  • Knowledge of website content management systems for editing and adding content (not programming skills)
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Project management experience

The successful candidate will have a good degree in either marketing, business studies, or event management.

Some work experience would be preferable, ideally gained in a marketing role within a customer-focussed and/or business environment.

Location

The role will be based in our Croydon office, but will require travel to our other offices, particularly Liverpool and Colwyn Bay.

First stage interviews will be held 13th and 14th November
