I. Activity One
I. Using the teacher created PowerPoint below, students will answer all CRCT Coach questions listed on the teacher created handout. Questions 248-258
II. Activity Two
Students will review the teacher created PowerPoint (Latin American Independence Movement) below.
Students will use the PowerPoint to create questions and answers about each person.
Directions:
Students will create five questions with answers about each person listed below using the information from the PowerPoint.
1. Toussaint L’Ouverture = Five Questions with Answers
2. Simon Bolivar = Five Questions with Answers
3. Miguel Hidalgo = Five Questions with Answers

Questions must be typed on a Word Document.

The students will complete a Cloze Reading Activity on the Cuban Revolution
The students will read and write paragraphs about the Zapatista Movement.
The students will review and answer questions about the Cuban Revolution and Zapatista Movement.
The student will select one person from the Latin American Independence Movement and write a mini biography about this person using coach book information.
Students will review, analyze, and locate terms related to Latin America on a word search activity.
Differentiation: Lower ability students will have their assignments modified to their needs.
