GEOSPACE RESEARCH, the First EISCAT – UkraineSchool (EUSGR)

From 07to 08 September, 2007 the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSAU)and the EISCAT Scientific Association will be hosting EUSGR, the First International Young Scientists’ School on Geospace Research. The event is organized jointly by NASU, NSAU, EISCAT,Commission G of the Ukrainian National URSI Committee, the Institute of Radio Astronomy of NASU, Institute of Space Research of NASU – NSAU, and the University of Tromsø, Norway .

Schedule and venue

The school will be held from 07 to08 September, 2007at a space research facility nearEvpatoria,Crimea,Ukraine.

Goals and Objectives

The EISCAT – Ukraine School on Geospace Research will provide an extraordinary opportunity for scientists from Ukraine, especially for those under 35, to get to know the major scientific problems studied by EISCAT, the prospects of Ukraine being integrated in this research, and the current state of geospace research at high and middle latitudes in Europeand Ukraine.
