Clear round show jumping running during event £3 per round or 2 rounds for £5

GENERAL RULES

  1. A horse or pony may not be shared in any class
  2. Riders must take part in their own age group – Age taken from 01.05.2016
  3. Rosettes will be awarded 1st to 6th in every class. For RoR - rosette plus voucher for 1st to 6th also rosette plus voucher for highest placed veteran.
  4. When mounted, correctly fitting hard hats to Standard PAS015,AS/NZS 3838:2006, SNELL E2001, ASTM-F1163, VG1must be worn
  5. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
  6. Body protectors are advised for jumping events

The RoRTattersalls Scottish Thoroughbred Show Series 2016

The RoRTattersalls Scottish Show Series Qualifier

Thoroughbred mare or gelding, 4years old or over, any height. Riders must be 15 years or over. Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle. Horses should be plaited. The first three go forward to the championship at the Royal HighlandShow 2017. All entries MUST be registered with the ROR and have RACED in GB. There will be a prize for the highest placed veteran 15years or over. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses to be ridden by the judge. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force’

Competitors must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. Racing injuries and blemishes will NOT be ignored in this series

Prizes : Rosettes and Tesco Vouchers 1st to 4th place.1st £50 plus voucher for jacket, 2nd £25, 3rd £20, 4th £10.

. Veteran prize, £25 voucher to be redeemed from RoR office and qualification for the Veteran final at Aintree

RoR Jockey Club Novice Ridden Show Horse Class

Thoroughbred mare or gelding, 4years old or over, any height. Rider must be 15 years or over on 1st January. To take part in this class, horses must NOT have won an open class

(inc SEIB/HOYS,RoRTattersalls Show Series Qualifier, TARRA Ridden, or any other open class except RoR TBA Challenge Show series classes.

Horses will be de-noviced after 3 novice wins or any open win, but is still eligible to compete at RoR Aintree show that August.

Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, Pelham or simple double bridle. Horses should be plaited. The first three go forward to the championship at the Aintree National Showing Show August 2016 or 2017 for shows 10th August 2016 to 10th August 2017. All entries MUST be registered with the RoR and have RACED IN GBThe class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses will NOT be ridden by the judge; each horse to complete an individual show or no longer that 1 ½ minutes to include the following movement: Walk, Trot, Canter showing change of leg, extended canter, halt and stand, walk off on long rein. Horses will be stripped for conformation. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. Please be aware that the show will split the class on the horse’s last run in a race (NH or Flat) should the entries exceed 20. Please mark your entry form accordingly.
