GENERAL INFORMATION:
This event is designed to be a fun and social training event to test your horsemanship and your steed’s gallantry. The course is a mixture of cross-country jumps, show jumps and agility activities. This type of event is a great way to boost the confidence of both riders and horses.
JUMPING SECTION:
All jumps are optional, wherever penalties will occur if a jump is missed. The jumps will be a mixture of cross-country and show jumps. Please note optimum times on the map provided, these will only be used in the event of a tie, where closest to optimum time will be the winner.
If 3 refusals are incurred at any one obstacle, competitors may proceed to the next obstacle but MUST clear the way for oncoming riders. There will be no eliminations for refusals.
Should a competitor fall (this includes an unscheduled dismount – as there are areas on course the competitor may be asked to dismount) and/horse fall on course, the rider will be immediately eliminated and requested to leave the course on foot at a walk. The rider must be accessed by the appointed medical officer upon leaving the course
The course will be available for walking Saturday 26th from4pm. All grades are very encouraging for young or inexperienced horse and rider combinations

SKILLS SECTION (within the jumping round):
Each activity is optional and will be judged if performed correctly within a time frame. ActivitiesMAY include obstacles such as a water course, gate to open and shut, a ramp and walk section, a traffic hazard and walking under streamers. 20 points per obstacle will be awarded for each one completed successfully within the time allocated. More specific details will be included on the back of the course map provided on the day.
Please supply your own number holder or bib (paper numbers supplied). Body protectors, medical armbands and bridle/saddle numbers are compulsory. No watches to be worn on course.
SCORING:
All riders will commence with 100 points, and will have points deducted or added depending on their performance.
Refusal of jump/run out/not jumped: 20 points removed
Error of course: 20 points removed
Rail on SJ jump: 4 points removed
Fall of horse or rider: Eliminated
Successfully completed agility activity within time frame: 20 points added
The aim is to accumulate the highest number of points.

Entry fee $30 per round,maximum of 2 rounds per horse/rider combination at consecutive levels.
Class 1 will start at 8:30am and run consecutively throughout the day.The course will be available for walking Saturday 26th from 4pm.

The Secretary must be notified of withdrawals prior to the event. No refunds will be given if withdrawal occurs after the draw is published.
COMPULSORY HELPERS:
All competitors must nominate a helper over 15 years of age, one rider – one helper; helpers nominated for more than one rider will get an extended duty. Self-help is not available. A no help fee of $80 may be paid if you are completely unable to provide a helper. If you are struggling to find a helper please ring the event secretary as she may be able to assist depending on entries/times etc.
ACCOMMODATION & YARDS:
Campingis available at Dryandra Regional Equestrian Centre grounds.Toilets are located on the grounds and at the Cuballing Cricket grounds next door. Yards can be booked for $20 per yard
INSURANCE: all riders must be insured. Proof of PCAWA annual insurance, PCAWA Open insurance or EWA insurance must be shown. This is not required for DREA or DPC members.
DOGS: Strictly No dogs allowed
CANTEEN: The canteen will be available Sunday 9.00am to 3.00pm.

To cancel any class or event, to divide any class, totransfer competitors between sections of a class, to alter the advertised times, to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason.
