Tandridge DEANERY
Stretching from the edge of Croydon to the southernmost parishes in the Diocese, bordering West Sussex, Tandridge is the newest, largest by area and most rural deanery in the Diocese. The deanery is socially and demographically mixed and its 26 churches serve small towns and villages that occupy a central place in their communities.Social issues include areas of deprivation and a poor supply of affordable housing in otherwise apparently affluent situations which need our prayers and action. It’s newly appointed Mission Enabler, James Ashton, helps parishes large and small to develop their ideas for mission.
