AP Macroeconomics

AP Macroeconomics uses an “islands” theme in which students act as an “economic advisor” to the leader of an island. The course is one segment. There are 61 lessons and 44 graded assignments. Because this is an AP course, teachers are expected to be AP trained and aware of the exam requirements prior to instruction. Answer keys will give some recommendations for grading, but much of what is expected relies on teacher knowledge of AP appropriate responses. Successful teachers often create supplemental activities and are involved with the instruction and test preparation for all students.
