USA
At the present time the USA is a federation consisting of fifty states. The highest-population density is in the north. The USA is the third most populous (popjúls) country of the world. Nowadays the USA has about 250 milion inhabitants. Based on territorial extent(terioriel ekstent), the USA is the fourth largest country in the world. The USA consists of three separate regions. These are the continental part, Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands.
The continental USA borders with Canada and Mexico. In the west of the continental part are extensive montainous plateaus(pletous). To the east we find lowlands and flatlands but also some mountain ranges. There are Cordillers, the Rocky Mountains, Sierra Nevada and so one. There are many rivers – Missisipi, Missouri, Rio Grande and many lakes – Ontario, Mchigan, Sinell. Climats conditions are different. Some parts of the USA are in the temperate zone, the southern part lies in the subtropical zone and in Florida there is a region that is purely tropical. In Alaska a severe arctic climate prevails.
The USA is a republic, the president is George Bush. The capital of USA is Washington. There are 2 houses of Parlament – the Senat and the House of Representatives. The first President was George Washinghton
The USA is industriel and agreecullure state. Approximately one half of the land is farmed. Examples of animals that live there are cattle, horses, seals, salmon, pumas(pjúmas) and so on. Fish are another economically important recource. (rikors)
The USA is rich in minerals. It has one of the largest reserves (rizervs)of black coal. The largest resources of oil and natural gas are in the area of the Gulf of Mexico and on the territories of Texas and Oklahoma.. Iron ore, copper, zinc and rare metals are mined in the USA.
The USA is member G7 (Grupp of Seven) – economically most developed countries in the world and NAFTA – North American Free Trade Agreement.
There are many interessing plases in the USA. In the Washinghton there are Washinghton Monument – it is a while marble obelisk, Jefferson Memorial – it was built to commemoraht(komomoreit) this American President, Department of Difence. In Washinghton there are no skys crapers. In the New York there are the Big Apple, The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberly – it was a gift from a people of France.
There are lived many prestige people – George Washinghton, Abraham Lincoln, John Steinback, Edgar Alan Poe and so on.

Washington ist the capital of USA. The official name is Washington D. C. – it is District of Columbia. It was designed certificially as a future capitol. Washington ist not much industrial city, there are mainly office building. Washington ist center of tourismus and gowerment. Most inhabitants are black people. Washington ist the seat of the Congress, the Supreme coard, the White House, Washington Monument – it is a while marble obelisk. There are Jefferson Memorial – it was built to commemoraht this American President, Lincoln Memorial – there is his statue inside, Arlington National Cemetary – all victimes of millitary conflicts in the history of the USA are buried there, Vietnam Veterans Memorial – it was build to commemorate the victimes of the war in Vietnam and the Pentagon Building´s – the Head cvoters of Department of Difence – it is a larges building in the world. In Washington there are no skyscrapers.

New York is the Big Apple. It´s a largest city in USA. There are 18 milion inhabitans, it used to be cold New Amsterodam and was (istebliš) by the Dutch (dač). It´s a (mikšr) of inhabitans, it´s a cosmopolitan city, it is a city of emigrants – it is the Melting Pot. Is the seat of the United Nation in 1895. New York is the center of culture. The plane of New York is a Grit of Streets and Avanues. Culture center is Broadway. (fainenšl) center is Wall Street (the Stock Exchange). There are the Statue of Liberty, it was a present from the French people. There are the World Trade Center – it was destroied during the attacks in September 2001. There are the Empire State Building – used to be inhigest Building in the world, Times square – it is a famous square where the people celebrate a New Year, it´s a center of art. There are Center Park, Carnegie Hall –it´s a concert Hall in New York. A sport center is Medison Square Garden. There is a Columbia University too.
