THE BUSHNELL UNVEILS NEW WEBSITE AND LOGO

September 20, 2014/Hartford, CT –The Bushnelltoday launched a new website, logo, and visual identity package to freshen The Bushnell brand graphically and provide a more engaging, informative, and useful online experience for patrons, donors, and ticket buyers.

The Bushnell’s new visual identity was created by CoreBrand, a New York based branding agency that specializes in helping organizations understand, define, express, and leverage their brands for measurable results. The new website was designed by Situation Interactive, a full-service digital agency specializing in using media and technology to tell immersive brand stories. Oversight for the project was provided by The Bushnell’s Board of Directors Marketing Committee (led by Connie Weaver),Executive Vice President Ronna Reynolds, and The Bushnell’s marketing department.

About the new logo, from CoreBrand’s Visual Identity Guidelines: “The new logo for The Bushnell is based on a very basic premise: that of a stage or platform. On one hand, it is a literal representation of the facility itself. But the meaning runs much deeper than that. The Bushnell, as an organization, has influence far outside the walls of Mortensen Hall and the Belding Theater. The people and spirit of The Bushnell reach throughout the greater Hartford area and around the world. With that in mind, the new logo represents the idea of a stage at the highest possible level. A beginning. A platform from which to illuminate, inspire and enrich; to elevate the spirit. The Bushnell is much more than a venue; it is a platform from which individuals and entire communities find new experiences.”
