I, the undersigned, (hereafter referred to as “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions on the dates indicated on this rental agreement, as set forth by The Brushy Schoolhouse Cottage (hereafter referred to as “The Brushy”).

Terms of Rental Agreement:

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Client will find key on hook under porch railing by front door upon arrival. Client will leave in same location upon checking out.
Client shall furnish their own bath towels, food and beverage, cell phone, soap, and shampoo.
While on premises, call 708-268-1392 to report any problem or if you have any questions.
Please no smoking inside the house. If smoking is detected, $200 will be charged to Client credit card.
A 50% deposit and signed application are required for reservations. Deposit must be received within 2 weeks of booking and may be refundable under certain circumstances.
Deposits may be transferred to different dates if adequate time has been allowed for The Brushy to rent original reservation dates.
All reservations must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to check in.
$25 NSF fee will be charged for checks being returned for any reason.
Any cancellation received without 60 days prior notification is subject to full charge.
Rates are subject to change.
Client shall be liable for any and all damages to buildings, furnishings and/or property of The Brushy.
Client agrees that The Brushy is not responsible for theft or damage to items brought to The Brushy.
Fish and game cleaning shall not be done inside The Brushy Schoolhouse. We have provided a fish cleaning table by the shed.
Vehicles are to be parked on graveled areas only.
Dogs are allowed in the Cottage. However, they must be kept off the furniture and beds, as future guests may be allergic to animals. We appreciate your cooperation.
Guests must pick up after their dogs. If this is not done, Guest will incur a $50 charge.
Garbage is to be kept in garbage receptacles provided. Please place all garbage in plastic garbage bags provided. Garbage company will not take garbage if not in plastic bags.
Outdoor fires in charcoal grill or fire ring only. No candles or gas lanterns inside cabins. All fires must be extinguished properly immediately after each use.
The Brushy is not responsible for any accident, injury or theft.
Client assumes all risks and agrees that The Brushy, its officers and employees, shall not be held liable for any injuries sustained by Client while occupying house or site.
Client shall perform the following when leaving The Brushy:

a) Close and lock all doors and windows.

b) Close all window blinds

c) Turn off all lights and appliances (except refrigerator).

d) Extinguish all fires in grill or fire ring.

e) Dishes shall be washed and put away.

f) Strip the beds and place all soiled sheets and kitchen towels on the floor of the bedroom.

g) Place all garbage in outdoor bins

h) Leave facility and grounds in same condition as when Client arrived.

i) Turn off fan and air conditioning
