THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF KING’S LYNN AND WEST NORFOLK
(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) AMENDMENT ORDER 2018 .
The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will amend The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk (Off-street Parking Places)(No 2) Order 2015 to have the following effects:
(i)to permit the use of the following permits on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital car parks -
(a)Permanent Staff Day Permits;
(b)Temporary Staff Weekly Permits – Students
(c)NICU Patients Weekly Permits (except on QEH Staff car park);
(d)Radiology Permits (except on Staff and Disabled Car Park and disabled spaces);
(e)Authorised Staff Parking Permits on allocated bays on the Bus Stop/Tennis Court Car Park.
(ii)add the following Car Parks on Greenpark Avenue;
(a)Lynnsport North;
(b)Lynnsport South; and
(c)Lynnsport Central;
details of use are set out in Car Park numbers 35A, 35B and 35C in the Schedule below.
(iii)make provision for payment by online and mobile ‘phone technology on Car parks with that facility.
(iv)vary the charges for the Car Parks as detailed with current and proposed charges set out in the Schedule below.
Parking restrictions do not apply on Bank Holidays or Christmas Day unless specified below.
A copy of the draft Order, a Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans, may be inspected at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, and at the offices of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, during normal office hours.
Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made.
