Greetings of Peace and Solidarity!

This is to invite your cooperative to become an affiliate of MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center. Today, MASS-SPECC is the largest and strongest confederation of primary and secondary cooperatives with an asset of almost a billion pesos, a growth rate of 46% and with more than 250 affiliates all over 23 provinces of Mindanao.

MASS-SPECC being a member–focus federation provides a bundle of services to the cooperatives. Our Central Fund Facility mobilizes capital and savings deposits from the members to support the financing requirements of other cooperatives. Through our Institute of Cooperative Studies (ICS) and our MASS-SPECC Consultancy Unit (MCU) we capacitate the cooperatives to realize their vision-mission and become bigger and stronger. This we do by providing trainings from leadership/directorship courses to strategic/business planning and by offering intensive consultancy in the areas of Human Resource, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Credit. Our Information and Communications Technology Unit offers internationally-recognized banking software installed in more than 200 sites and pioneered the first Pinoy Coop ATM in the country linked with BancNet. Finally, our very own Budget Hotel is conveniently located in the Cities of Cagayan de Oro and Davao, where lodgings and seminars can be booked at a very affordable cost.

We firmly believe that only through cooperation among cooperatives and networking will be able to strengthen and make a big difference in the cooperatives’ contribution towards economic growth and empowerment of the people in the island of Mindanao.
