The Berlin-Boylston Schools will begin its Preschool registration application process on January 3, 2017. Parents may pick up an application form at either elementary school and at Tahantofrom then until Wednesday¸ January 18 between the hours of 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. You may also visit our webpage at

Completed application forms must be broughtto Tahantoon January 19with the preschool student. At that time, as part of our child find requirements, all students will participate in a brief screening of their motor, speech, cognitive and social skills. The screening is only a snapshot of your child’s capabilities and for many children we will meet, it will be perhaps his/her first time ever participating in a structured setting. We are fully aware of the fact that your child may be shy or a little nervous, but we will provide a play atmosphere that will make your child feel at ease if this is the case. Parents will be given feedback on their child’s performance and will be notified if concerns arise from the screening results.

The school district is looking for children who will be 3 years old by September 1, 2017. The Berlin and Boylston preschools operate three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, time of day to be determined by enrollment and staffing. The Tahanto PK runs a MWF AM session and will offer a T, ThAM session if enrollment is sufficient. Tuition for all programs is currently set at $2260 for 3 day sessions and $1600 for two day sessions. AM and PM sessions are assigned by the district.
