Lioness Clubs of Multiple District 201
Every year, one outstanding Lioness Club will be recognised for its exemplary humanitarian service /
The award of a banner patch will be presented to the winning club at the MD201 Convention each year.
1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
(a) Authorised (licensed) Lioness clubs may submit entries.
(b) Projects shall have been completed within the calendar year (January 1– December 31) preceding that of the MD 201Convention.
(c) Projects may be ongoing however once a particular project has won a Fonnie Tresise Premier Project award, it is ineligible to receive additional awards.
(d) Fund raising may be considered part of the service but not as an activity in itself.
(e) Applications must be submitted by the clubs to their District/Associate Chairman or appropriate District Officer for initial judging.
(f) A limit of one application per district, per calendar year will be accepted for final judging by the MD Lioness Committee.
2. APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
(a) A printed or typed, detailed report of no more than 500 words, with photographs if available, is to be submitted by February 28th of each year, to their District / Associate Chairman or appropriate District officer.
Information to be included e.g.
- How / When / Why project was introduced to the club?
- Who / Why / What partnerships / worked in co-operation with the club project?
(b) NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
(c) The District Chairman (or other appropriate District officer) shall on or prior to April 1st each year, forward the selected application to the MD201 Lioness Committee Chairman and theirMD Lioness Committee State Coordinator.
(d) The final judging will be undertaken by a panel of 3 judgesselected by the MD201 Lioness Committee. (Whenever possible from Districts who do not have a finalist entry to be judged)
3. AWARD CRITERIA:

Please attach a detailed, written report (500 words) explaining the above Service Project. This report must show the relationship between the activity and a need for this project. It should also describe the planning, implementation and involvement of the Lionesses and others and document the final result of the completed activity. Photographs may be included.
This entry form and the accompanying report must be received by the District Lioness Chairman no later than February 28th of each year. One entry per District will then be submitted to the MD Lioness Committee Chairman and their State Co-ordinators" for the final judging by April 1st of each year.
The winning club will be announced at the MD Convention.
