The Auction Edition of The Weekly Roar


FREE Childcare Available

With the purchase of your ticket(s) to the event, FREE childcare is offered through Westbury Baptist Church Youth Ministry to a LIMITED number of children on a first come first serve reservation basis starting April 14th.

For the 4th consecutive year, Parker PTO is partnering with Westbury Baptist Church Youth Ministry to offer this wonderful service for our parents. While you enjoy the auction, your children will have a blast playing games, skating, playing basketball and watching movies (G and PG) with their friends at the Family Life Center (gym). They will be tired when you pick them up!

Dinner is not provided, but there will be light snacks available. In addition to teenage babysitters, adult supervision will be provided.

Donations Needed

3 FACTS ABOUT DONATIONS FOR THE AUCTION:

#1…there is no donation that is too small (or too large)

(donations will be combined & packaged to make the most profit)

#2…donations are requested by April 24th

(this will allow time to promote during the week before the event)

#3…remember: Parker PTO is a non-profit organization

(all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the extent allowed by law)

WHAT ITEMS ARE NEEDED FOR THE AUCTION?

Consider the following…

While shopping, pick up an item or gift card for the auction. Every donation helps raise funds for your PTO to make a difference for all Parker students.

Do you own your own business? Promote your business by giving a gift certificate for goods/services…donors will be linked from Parker’s website.

Are you crafty? Handmade items are always great additions to the auction.

Do you like to cook/bake? Offer a Dinner-a-Week or Dessert-a-Month item.

Are there new/gently used items at your home taking up space? Make a tax-deductible donation and spring clean at the same time.

Can you join with other parents to host a social for adults or kids? Pick something you/your child likes to do and turn it into a party.

Are you willing to make something with your child’s class? Class creations are always big sellers at the event...we have ideas to share.

Underwriting…You Give & You Get

 $50: Underwriters at this level will be highlighted as a decorations sponsor and receive $5 toward any raffle items.

 $100: Underwriters at this level will be highlighted as a desserts sponsor and receive 1 space in the social of your choice.

 $200: Underwriters at this level will be highlighted as a drinks sponsor and receive 2 event tickets.

 $300: Underwriters at this level will be highlighted as a dinner sponsor, receive 2 event tickets, and 2 spaces for the social(s) of your choice.
