11/8 - Goal: YWBAT explore how an author develops the point of view of a character in a text.
Success Criteria: YWBAT compare and contrast the levels of change each of the main characters went through.

- The Art of Keeping Cool Essay: Over the course of the novel, we did character studies on Abel, Elliot and Robert using the essential question as a guide. Though the fighting takes place mainly overseas, the events of World War II strongly affect the lives of each character in the book. Select one of the main characters. Provide examples of how that person's life is changed due to American's involvement in the war.How might these changes alter the perception of the world for this character? And how might it affect the way he navigates the world?
