2010“Stop Illegal Dumping”Contest
To commemorate Environmental Pride Month in April 2010, and win CASH for your class or club, we invite teachers and advisors to get involved with their students to keep our valley clean.
Submissions are only limited by imagination. Possible ideas include: power point, pictures, drawings, poster boards, taping of a skit/play, etc…
This year’s theme: “What can we do to help stop illegal
dumping in the AntelopeValley?”
Illegal dumping is any unauthorized disposal of waste on any public or private property. Usually, people dump illegally to avoid collection and disposal fees, or because they believe proper disposal is just “too much trouble.”
Contest entry deadline is Wednesday, March 31, 2010at 4:00 p.m.
There are three categories each with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes as listed below:
