Rules

Products or services that entered the China market after January 1, 2016, and before February 28, 2017,are eligible for the program.
Deadline for entry: March 3, 2017, (entry form, required materials and entry fee must be received by March 3, 2017, to validate the entry). Late entry (entries) received after March 3 but byMarch 11, 2017, will be accepted with an additional 50% surcharge. No entry will be acceptedafterMarch 11, 2017.
There is no limit in number of entriesfor each product. A product can be enteredin more than one product category; however, the entry fee will be calculated at US$1,000 ×number of product categories entered.
All entries must be accompanied by

(1)An official entry form that should include a description ofup to 500ChinesewordsANDup to 250Englishwords in MS Word.

(2)One high resolution image (minimum 3×5 inch at 300dpi or above in jpeg, tif or eps file format).

(3)Customer comments, patent certificates or other documents (A maximum of three and they are optional to submit. Comments may be up to 400 words in ChineseAND200 words in English).

A distinguished panel of independent experts and selected SMT Chinareaders will judgethe entries.
The entries will be evaluated on eight criteria: (1) Innovativeness (creativeness of the entry's design, itself) andthe entry's contribution in helping the downstream industry to (2)Reduce Cost,(3)Improve Quality,(4)Increase Efficiency,(5)Enhance Reliability,(6) Ensure Safety or(7) Protect the Environment; as well as the entry's (8) Overall Impact on the industry.
Awards: Any entry being recognized by the Judging Committee as qualified for final judging will be nominated and awarded a SMT China Vision Award (nominated award). The top scorer will be awarded The VA Prime Award, and a number of high scoring entries will be awarded VA Excellence Awards.
Awards will be announced and presented at a ceremony to be held during NepconChina 2017in Shanghai, April 25, 2017.
Winning products and services will be published in both theNepcon China Show Daily and SMT China magazine'sJun/Jul 2017 issue as well as ontheir respectivewebsites.

Remarks

a)We reserve the right to reject any entries without reason.

b)We reserve the right to make literal adjustment. The edited version will be sent back for a written confirmation from the entry's nominating company.

Entry fee: An entry will only be valid after its entry fee is received.*

By March3, 2017:US$1,000/ RMB7,500 per each entry.

Between March 4, 2017 and March 11, 2017 inclusively:US$1,500/ RMB11,250 per each entry.

*Nominated or non-nominated entries will be informed within one week from March 24. Non-nominated entries will be refund up to 70% of the entry fee. Non-nominated entries will not be disclosed.
