THATCHAMPARK C E PRIMARY SCHOOL

Thank you for the interest you have shown in our recently advertised full timeKS1Teacher position. The post is to start September 2015.

This is a very exciting time for our school. We are now in our 9thyear following the merger of the former Infant and Junior schools; we are a thriving community with over-subscribed classes in several year groups. We have made significant progress in many areas since our opening, not least establishing ourselves on one site in May 2008! We now have wonderful new facilities for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, a new library, studio, and dedicated technology room.

Situated in North Thatcham, near Newbury, our school has a very mixed catchment including some significant areas of social disadvantage. We have over 400 children on role at present, including 31 in Foundation 1 and we have 2classes in each year group. We have a very enthusiastic and dedicated teaching staff as well as very experienced support staff in all classes.

In addition to the school prospectus and recent OFSTED and SIAS reports, you can see more about us by searching on Google for our school website. However, the best way to find out about us is to come to the school! Visits are warmly welcomed and can be easily arranged via the school Office Manager on 01635 870950.
