TG Fluid Systems USA Corporation Receives 2010 Manufacturing Excellence Award from the
Association for Manufacturing Excellence
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. – November 18, 2010 – The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) is pleased to announceTG Fluid Systems USA Corporation(TGFSUS) as a 2010 recipient of its Manufacturing Excellence Award.
TGFSUS is a global leader specializing in evaporative emission systems and fuel systems, greater reliability and lightweight automotive products. The company’s Brighton, Mich.-based plant is one of sixto receive the award signifying high levels of excellence achieved and sustained during the past year. All award recipients recognized by AME have maintained global competitiveness throughout unstable economic conditions and continue to position the organization as a leader during the economy’s recovery phase.
TGFSUSdevelops and manufactures fuel and vapor management systems for use in power trains and fuel systems. On the Lean Journey since 1996, the plant employs approximately 220 people and provides its products in approximately six countries. In 2009, TGFSUS posted revenues of over $46 million.
