1 x 15 Hours a week (mornings) 1 x 25 hours a week
Contract type: Temporary - Start February 2017 to July 2017 - 39 weeks a year
Location: Lawn Primary School
The Governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, committed and caring Teaching Assistants to support two children with special educational needs.The successful candidate will be part of a close knit, hardworking and friendly team at Lawn Primary School.
We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience of working with children with complex needs.
*Has well developed behaviour management skills.
*Is flexible in their communication approach to meet the needs of the child in different situations.
*Is able to deliver planned programmes of work to meet the child's needs and ensure progress.
*Is able to prepare materials and resources required for SEN support.
*Can monitor and contribute to the assessment and recording of children's development and be involved in the sharing of this information.
*Likes children and enjoys working with them to help them all succeed.
*Has a professional attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
*Has specific skills that will support the teaching and learning in the school
*Has a flexible approach to contribute to the day to day demands of a vibrant school
*Has an understanding and commitment to an inclusive ethos.
