Control Room Operation N' Responsibilities:

·  Monitors, coordinates and ensuring the safe and efficient operation from control room includes maintaining continues contact with various areas of the entire plant to keep them informed of overall operating condition. CR operation includes Inlet receiving, crude oil treatment and de-salting train, gas treatment, receiving, storage, export and utilities.

·  Start up, shut down and black start of production & process facility.

·  Continues monitoring, controlling Instruments / equipments and making field adjustment according to the process permissive parameters for continuous plant operation.

·  Handover the equipments for maintenance by overriding trip logic under instruction of supervisor.

·  Expertise with trend analyzing, Alarm & Trip setting and Process related drawings.

·  Logging the status of facilities and ensuring that production and process are in optimum level.

·  Process evaluation to maximize the volume and quality of oil and optimize the rate and quality of gas metered to downstream facilities.

·  Review and acknowledge work permit according to the risk assessment to the concerned task.

·  Preparing daily, weekly and monthly production report.

·  Coordinating and guiding well head operator for start up of wells and PIG launching activities.

·  Reading the status of wells using SCADA system.

·  Operating and monitoring the heat medium boilers, potable water treatment plant, produced water treatment package and pilot water injection system using serial link communication.

·  Operating and controlling of export custody metering and LACT proving using flow computer.

·  Operation of multi phase flow meter for individual well testing.

Duties N' Responsibilities

Plant Rover Operation :

·  Performing task as per superior instructions and operating the integrated production & process facilities in safe, sensible and efficient manner.

·  Monitoring the plant performance, trouble shooting the process upset, updating field activities, safety issues, daily activities and work progress to CR and maintaining daily log of all events accrued during shift.

·  Area authority of permit to work activities and ensuring that the performing authority is adhering the procedures stated in the work permit.

·  Efficient action to control emergencies and ensuring Hi – level safety during activities.

·  Central & Local panel operation that includes changing, adjusting parameters and controlling in safe mode.

·  Responsible for isolation/de–isolation and ensuring safe preparation of equipments and vessels for man entry / maintenance activities and coordinate with them to ensure minimum deferment of production.

·  Responsible for the support of company (HSE) health, safety, environment and quality policies and programs.

·  Practicing good housekeeping and environmental awareness, drills and meetings related to personal and plant safety.

·  Giving guidance to trainee operators to improve their discipline, safety, HSE awareness, skill and knowledge.

Crude Oil Process Facilities Operation:

·  Upstream operation: Handling and operating of OGM and flow line receivers, performing well diversion for production and test and multi phase flow meter operation.

·  Pigging operation: Launching, receiving and retrieving various types of pigs.

·  Crude oil phase separation : Performing multi stage phase separation and process supporting system operation, handling and operating horizontal / spherical separators, heat exchangers, gas scrubbers and operation of all controllers, local control & value mounted control panel and responsible of monitoring & controlling the process parameters for smooth and uninterrupted production.

·  Crude oil phase treatment : Operation of electrostatic de-hydrator and de-salter, crude oil de-acid system, handling heat exchanger, electrode grids, transformer & controlling water mixing, monitoring and maintaining interface level → for efficient coalescing and lab analyzing, OFF – SPEC recycling operation.

·  Crude sweetening & stabilization: Handling and operating the gas boot, H2S stripping tower, bottom knock out vessel, steam heat exchangers, stripping gas system, stabilizing, sampling and transfer pump operation.

·  Gas sweetening using DEA system : operation of DEA absorber and regenerator (purification) system,

handling re-boilers, DEA lean/rich heat exchanging system, preparing & make up of DEA and maintaining its quality & character by proper operation.

·  Condensate recovery and treatment system: Performing gravity and centrifugal force condensate recovery by flash separation & scrubbing system, slug catching, heat exchanging, H2S stripping, stabilizing system, condensate storage and transfer operation.

·  Tank form : Handling and operating storage tanks (receiving, settling, storage & export operation), crude heating and mixing system operation, tank TMB samples, tank dip level, monitoring roof for smooth operation, close monitoring of any leakage & spillage, roof drain, water draw off, gravity drain and de – sledging, tank inlet/out let MOV operation, export booster pump operation.

·  Crude custody transfer metering & chemical inj. facility: Crude metering, LACT meter proving, auto sampling system operation, handling and managing various types of chemicals as per MSDS and chemical Injection facility operation.

·  Flare system : operation of different pressure level sweet & sour flare, handling flare blower, flare knock out and water seal system, flare stack draining and flare pumps, flare igniting system operation.

·  Responsible of shut down / start up of plant, performing inerting, purging, de-sanding, de-waxing operation of vessels, open and closed drain system and line de-chocking operation.

Gas Plant Operation:

·  Feed gas metering:- operation of GGM, operation of steam turbine (G.E) and 3 stage centrifugal compressors (ELLIOT). Co) to feed downstream facilities and lube, control & seal oil system, inter/after stage cooling, suction/discharge K.O. separation system, sour liq. blow down and vacuum ejector system operation.

·  Bulk and trim acid gas removal process : Operation of hot carbonate & DEA absorbing and regenerating system, LP steam re-boiler, lean/rich heat exchanging system, condenser, flash and reflux system & carbonate/DEA pump, wash and jacket water system operation, carbonate/DEA filtration, preparation of carbonate/DAE solution, anti foam additives make up, storage and transfer operation.

·  Gas dehydration and Mercury removal process :

Thermal swing absorption → Feed gas / propane heat exchanging and phase separation operation,

Molecular sieve bed absorption and regenerating system and reactivation heating system to de-frost &

drying out operation, dew point maintaining, handling and replacing desiccant as required.

Glycol dehydration → Performing inlet gas separation, glycol absorption, regenerating (glycol purification),

stripping and dew point controlling operation handling direct fire/waste heat recovery re-boilers,

stripping gas, lean/rich heat exchanging system operation, glycol filtering, accumulator, glycol recovery

scrubber, transfer & circulation pump operation and field glycol pH test & various quality test by lab

analyzing and chemical handling.

·  Separation and fractionation : Handling and operating de-ethanizer, de-propanizer, pure propane system, de-butanizer, pentane plus splitter system and operating re-boilers, propane cooling, condensing & reflux system to yield different products, storage and transfer operation .

·  Propane refrigeration system : Operation of 3 stage Propane compressor (Elliot. co),steam turbine(G.E), propane recycle circuit system, de-superheating, liq. injection tempering, flash off vapor recycle system, handling and operating suc.K.O., receivers, kettle type propane evaporator coolers and condensers.

·  LNG liquefaction and MCR system : Performing final feed gas separation, handling & operating main cryogenic heat exchanger, MCR refrigeration system & MCR - compressor operation, MCR make up, cool down operation of main cryogenic exchanger.

Utility Plant Operation:

·  Produced water de-oiling, treatment and injection system : Operation of feed tank, performing oil skimming, APP intercepting & Induced Gas Flotation → skimming and pumping operation, slop & surge tank handling, filtration, back wash, chemical dosing, water treatment and water injection system operation.

·  AITON seawater desalination system: Operation of seawater intake, pre heating, degassing, vapor compression, flash distillation, chemical dosing & effluent water disposal system operation.

Commissioning Activities:

·  Preparing and clearing the punch list with the reference of P & ID.

·  Executing pre-commissioning, commissioning such as line tracing, hydro testing, flushing, air (hard board) and steam blowing, purging, inerting, CV stroke checking, performance check of rotary and associated equipments operation applying commissioning procedures.

·  Assisting in start-up and shut down preparation according to the standard operating procedures.

Process Instrument, Equipments & Vessels:

·  I am well versed in instrumentation control loop system & all types of calibration and trouble shooting.
