Your video Pitch

To support your application and to help bring your idea to life you need to provide a 3-Minute Video Pitch.

This doesn’t have to be anything more than a video from a hand held mobile recording device. You don’t have to hire in the professionals, unless you really want to. Think about the content of your pitch as being the critical thing. For the video we need to be able to see and hear it clearly and it needs to showyou talking or demonstrating your idea. Use the video to help the judging panelunderstand you during the assessment process.

YouTube is the preferred option for uploadingvideo content. You shouldselect the unlisted option whenuploading to YouTube (details of how to do this are below). If you want to password protect your video, that is fine, just remember to provide the password so we can view it!

The timelimit for videos is 3 minutes maximum.Any video content beyond 3 minutes won’t beviewed during the assessment process.

How to change video to Unlisted:

  • Sign into your YouTube Account
  • Go to your My Videos page
  • Select the video which you’d like to make an unlisted video. Click the Edit button to access the video’s settings.
  • Go to the Privacy section of the page. There you’ll see the option to mark you video as “unlisted”, “public”, or “private”. Select unlisted.
  • Don’t forget to click the Save Changes button. Once you’ve done this your video will be an unlisted video.

Once the video content has been uploaded to YouTube (or the other preferred format i.e.Vimeo) then you MUST provide the full URL link on your Application Form in Question 5.
